Your body requires a consistent flow of nutrients to come into the body to repair muscle tissue. This means you need to eating every few hours to keep up this flow. There is also a secondary benefit added to this and it comes in the way of increased metabolism. Your digestive system is directly tied to digestion, so if you’re digesting food more often, your metabolism is going at a faster rate.
- The Meal Before Bed: When it comes to sleep, you’re going to miss out on the opportunity to feed yourself throughout the night. There is away around this and it comes from your meal before bed. If you eat a high combination of fat and protein, such as cottage cheese, your body will have to spend more time breaking down the fat, which means the digesting of protein will last long into the night.
- Exercises: The natural female bodybuilders always use compound exercises as the foundation of their workout. These exercises work many muscle groups at the same time, hence the name compound. Research has shown that this will stimulate more over all muscle growth on the body.
